| After all of the worrying and wondering and debating how college was going to be....I am officially in college. Definitely in a unique situation living in the Sophmore and above apartments. Apparently there are only 85 freshmen in Poly Canyon Village. My room/housemates are Great people. 6 people = 3 Freshmen, 2 Sophmores, and 1 Senior. Bulk shopping at Costco and watching Jasper aka Chef Bolton cook his Specialty Shrimp Scampi and hours of Sega Dreamcast weren't things I imagined. Went to the Club Fair and joined a million clubs to get some free candy and a laundry bag. (I have 3 now) Besides the cold weather at night, hot during the day, wild deer roaming around at night, and a not soo enjoyable fall schedule, its not THAT bad.
I finally gave in and bought a pair of Rainbows at discount price! How Much You say? $29.99 at Sports Authority.
Be Gel-less.
Tomorrow is the first day of school. We'll see where that takes me......

| I am officially leaving for "college" in 6 hours. After all of the preparing, long lists of things to buy, double checking this and that.....I am still worrying about forgetting something. It wasn't until maybe 6 hours ago where I realized that I won't be having some delicious roast pork or a home cooked meal for about 2 months. I am going to miss those days where the weather looks super sunny and minutes later the fog takes over the sky. My dad yelling at me to wake up or else I'm going to be late for school. Coming home after a long day at school to a bowl of soup and rice. I am going to miss driving into the Sunset district at least a few times a week. These boxes are filled with the things I think I need, but what I really need right now is a whole lot of Faith in God's plan for me. The day I've been waiting for and preparing for is finally here. College.

I guess the pencils are sold seperately from the case....darn.

| My apologies to the few who read this.....I have lost the blogging bug. Pretty much I am way too lazy to update you guys about whats going on in my life. Preparing for college, taking care of chores, going to church, selling whatever I can to buy stuff for college, napping, dinners, a Bike Ride across the Golden Gate Bridge at 6 am, getting freebies, the list keeps going.
And its over now.....F I N I S H L A S T the last of my Youth Rally out of my 5 years in choir.
Definitely going to miss all of the singing...I still want to sing Testimony again. Too bad I threw up that morning :(
My summer officially started on August 31st.
No more musical practices, fellowship stuff to take care of, band practices, high school basketball, pretty much most of my summer involved a lot of ministries at church. Now that I am out of high school, I am technically not in any ministry.
In all of this madness, I still have to give it up to God. This summer so far will be remembered as the most cluttered, crazy, busy, productive, enjoyable, and "all the other emotions".
------------------------------ Daphne I've been keeping up with your blog. Great Job on your paper. Don't worry about being a teacher, you will do splendid. Skyline shooting...C R A Z Y. Keep me posted even though I won't be around most the year to hang out with ya.
I will slowly get into blogging mode soon.

| So I survived my two day orientation. 459.4 Miles ago I was getting ready to leave for Cal Poly. After driving by myself for about 6 hours or so, I realized driving alone is super duper boring. More details to come. Unpacked from Orientation. Currently packing for camp. Not sure if I stocked up on enough water balloons. 250? hmm. We shall see. Princess Daniel's Birthday.
Won't be posting until after August 8th. Need to upload a lot of pictures.
Fray Concert Tonight! These tickets have been stashed in a box for months.

| In about 8 hours I will be leaving for my 2-day orientation (SOAR) at Cal Poly SLO. Am I excited? Not really. It's been more of a panic filled with frantic packing. Since I've already been on two campus tours already, I'm debating if I should go on another one the third time around.
I'm staying overnight at the dorm Sierra Madre, hopefully my overnight roommate won't think I'm weird. Pray for me that I won't get lost even with a GPS. Excited to go Firestone Grill for their Tri Tip that everyone talks about, yum. Freshman 15 25 here I come.
I can't wait for the drive back where I will hit Gilroy on the first day of their Back-to-school Sale. Printed extra 30% off Banana and Gap coupons . Hopefully I won't come back on Thursday hating on Cal Poly.
See you in two days when I will pack for camp and get ready for THE FRAY CONCERT!
